Technical Writer and AI Builder / Freelance

Laljan Basha Shaik

I turn complex technology into clear, structured documentation so teams can understand it and act on it. I also build AI agents, forms, and AI-powered tools and workflows around documentation: automation, internal tools, and AI-assisted content pipelines.

About

Technical writing is the translation layer between people who build a product and people who use it.

I take complex systems such as software, protocols, and security analyses and turn them into content a specific audience can actually use. Not more words. More structure.

Beyond writing, I work as an AI builder. I design and ship the tooling around documentation: agents, forms, automation, and AI-assisted content pipelines, so teams get both clear docs and the systems that keep them moving.

Languages: English (business / professional technical documentation) and German (A1-A2). Available freelance and remote. Open to full-time or part-time, long-term collaboration.

What I do

From expert knowledge to documentation people can use, plus the AI tooling around it.

  • Extract knowledge

Work with engineers and experts through interviews, raw notes, and source material, and pull out what matters.

  • Structure information

The hardest, most valuable part: hierarchies, reusable pieces, and clear entry points before the first sentence.

  • Write and edit

Audit reports, manuals, how-to guides, knowledge base articles, release notes, product docs, onboarding, and FAQs.

  • Maintain and update

Keep content current: feedback loops, versioning, and a consistent library instead of one-off PDFs.

  • CMS and doc systems

Structured, reusable content in CMS and documentation workflows, including Git and single-sourcing.

  • AI agents and workflows

Build AI agents and AI-assisted content pipelines that support drafting, structuring, and keeping documentation workflows efficient.

  • Forms and internal tools

Design forms and ship AI-powered internal tools so documentation and operations share the same clear paths.

My process

Information architecture, structured authoring, single-sourcing, and content management.

  1. 01

    Audience analysis

Who is it for? What do they already know? What should they be able to do afterward?

  2. 02

    Information gathering

Experts, source material, and the product itself, plus the places where readers get stuck.

  3. 03

    Structuring

Build the skeleton first: outline, modules, and reusable building blocks.

  4. 04

    Drafting

Plain language, one idea per step, and action before filler.

  5. 05

    Testing

Can a real reader follow it and succeed?

  6. 06

    Iteration and maintenance

Feedback, updates, and versioning. Documentation is a living system.

Selected work

Blockchain security audit documentation. Turning raw research into clear, actionable reports.

rektproofsec (since 2024)

Security audit documentation

I write and structure the technical documentation for blockchain smart-contract security audits. I work alongside a security researcher: the researcher identifies vulnerabilities and provides raw technical input. I turn that into clear, structured, actionable audit reports for protocol developers and engineering teams.

  • 70+ audited protocols documented
  • 250+ findings written up
  • 50+ critical / high findings structured

Ecosystems covered in the documentation: Solidity/EVM, Move (Sui and Aptos), Rust/Solana, and wallet and mobile. Deliverables include detailed vulnerability findings, remediation guidance, and full audit reports. Thorough, actionable, and on time.

Skill demonstrated: taking extremely complex source material and making it understandable and structured for a defined expert audience.

Why work with me

Clarity under complexity, and a content library that holds together.

  • Clarity under complexity

Make genuinely hard things, such as smart-contract vulnerabilities, feel obvious through structure.

  • Empathy for the reader

Design around where people get stuck, not around expert pride.

  • Structure obsession

Hierarchies, modules, and reusable pieces. Information architecture before prose.

  • Tooling fluency

CMS, documentation systems, structured workflows, version control with Git, and AI-powered build tools.

  • Lower support load

Clear docs mean fewer tickets and faster onboarding.

  • Think like an editor

A consistent content library instead of isolated one-off documents.
